Nathaniel L. Taylor

Nat serves in a general counsel role for a variety of businesses and nonprofit organizations. In that capacity, he helps clients in the formation of business entities and conducting securities offerings; drafting and negotiation of commercial contracts and technology licensing agreements; employment law; mergers, acquisitions, and complex real estate transactions. He also assists nonprofits on a variety of issues related to securing and maintaining tax exemptions at the federal and state level.

His early experiences litigating business conflicts before focusing on transactions help him in structuring transactions to minimize risks. He has been voted a "Rising Star" by the readers of Washington Law & Politics five times.

Professional and Community Involvement

Nat's volunteer work as treasurer of his church and president of his fraternity's alumni association help him view his work from the client's perspective, where budgets are limited and responsiveness and accuracy are critical. In his free time he experiences the pleasure, and more recently the pain, of watching local sports teams and playing basketball and soccer.
