Lana M. Floyd

Lana's practice concentrates on transactions and litigation related to real estate matters. She represents individuals, small businesses, homeowners associations and developers. Lana's services include document preparation, document review and court representation.

Lana also works in the area of trusts and estates and has represented clients in guardianship proceedings, as legal counsel for the ward and for the guardian. She also represents trustees and personal representatives in their capacity as fiduciaries.

Lana joined Ellis, Li & McKinstry PLLC in 2000 and became a partner in 2004. She was recently voted a "Rising Star" by readers of the Washington Law & Politics Magazine.

Professional and Community Involvement

Lana served in the United States Army Reserve as a Tactical Telecommunications Specialist. In college she participated in the Reserve Officer Training Corp. program. She completed Airborne School at Ft. Benning, GA in the summer of 1989. In May 1990, Lana was commissioned a Military Intelligence Officer. She received an Honorable Discharge from the USAR in 1998.

As a lawyer, Lana served on the Foundation Board of Directors for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Pierce County from 1999-2001. She also served on the Legal Services to the Armed Forces Committee for the Washington State Bar Association from 2000-2003.

Lana enjoys biking, hiking and spending time with friends.
